National Science Week including Science Alive! is one of the premier science events in SA. This huge FREE community event will be held on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8h August 2010 in the huge Goyder Pavilion of the Adelaide Showgrounds at Wayville.
21 - 22 August 2010 Kadina 140th Annual Show A traditional show, it is family orientated with fun for everyone on both days of the show from 10am
28 August 2010 Autism SA and Parents Assisting Kids with Autism (PAKA) Lilac Dinner Dance at Fogolar Furlan, 69 Briar Rd Felixstow, to raise funds for PAKA Musika, a music and movement program for kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Tickets are $75 all inclusive.
1 September 2010 6 - 7.30 pm Thinking Critically About Sustainable Energy at the Science Exchange. The event is free but bookings are essential. Part of a series of public forums aimed at providing a comprehensive examination of sustainable energy technologies and critical evaluation of their potential for reducing carbon emissions. Come along, hear what the experts think and ask your own questions about how solar and wind power might fit into a sustainable future
DonorTec is a program run by Connecting Up Australia. It provides donated and discounted technology products and services from companies such as Microsoft, Symantec, Sophos and Cisco to eligible income tax exempt (ITE) Australian nonprofit groups. Via this program nonprofits can access the latest technology via donations or generous discounts. www.donortec.org
