The TT123 Project is a Gay Men's Health community initiative with the aim to raise awareness of the rising rates of STI's across Adelaide and the impact this has had on the rise of HIV, particularly in same-sex attracted men.
The Project linked up 5 photographers with 4 community groups consisting of queer men from different backgrounds and communities. These include The Moolagoo Mob, Shangri-La, PLWHA and The Inside Out ProjectYour text goes here.
Each group worked together to develop a series of photographic works derived from the concept of STI's (sexually transmitted infections) and why testing is so important.
The Care for yourself, Care For your community project, developed by Feast, asked South Australian Visual Artists to respond to a brief which discussed the potential for gay men to be at the forefront of modeling sexual behaviours and practices that will not only reduce HIV transmission but also maintain and protect the health of the individual and of the community.
