RICH FULCHER - AN EVENING WITH ELEANOR

March 10th 2010 02:08
: RICH FULCHER TOUR WHORE
MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL COMEDY FESTIVAL PRESENTS

RICH FULCHER - AN EVENING WITH ELEANOR: THE TOUR WHORE [USA]

9 - 13 MARCH -
at the NOVA CINEMA

"Fulcher is like Eddie Izzard or Steve Martin, in the way his surreal take on life gives rise to sudden wildchanges of subject. His ability to exchange deadpan delivery for crazy animation at the flick of a switch makes for great comedy." The Scotsman, UK

"Inventive, hilarious and wonderfully silly." Comedian Bill Bailey

Best know for his roles in the Mighty Boosh and Snuffbox, Rich Fulcher's latest creation is rock 'n roll groupie and sexual predator Eleanor, the tour whore - and he's setting her loose on all the hot bands performing around thecountry.

Adelaide, prepare to lock up your daughters - ahem - we mean sons. As the world's ultimate band moll, Eleanor has lived the life most people scream about. Now the woman whoclaims to make Neil 'Young' and put the 'Wood' in Woodstock, tells all through poetry, song, dance andconfessional monologues that have been known to leave the audience feeling freshly molested.

Prepare to get apounding like you're yesterday's beef. Rich Fulcher is a mega-star of UK TV and stage, most famously in The Mighty Boosh playing characters such as Bob Fossil, Kodiack Jack and cheesehead Tommy Nooka alongside Julian Barrett and Noel Fielding, who won the Perrier Best Newcomer Award in 1998.
