For the fifth massive year in a row, Pyramid Rock Festival returns to Phillip Island to bring in the New Year from Monday 29th December 2008 until Thursday 1st January 2009. Don't miss out on your chance to be there when tickets go on sale Thursday 4th September.
Last year's Pyramid Rock Festival sold out in record time - 4 days to be exact - when seasoned Pyramid Rock Festival veterans (and even more Pyramid virgins) waited intently at their computers with credit cards at the ready. Even more punters camped outside ticketing outlets from the early a.m. hours armed with trusty thermoses and fold out chairs to nab the coveted Pyramid Rock Festival tickets. With a stellar line-up confirmed and more on the way, this year's Pyramid promises to deliver its best line up so far with 50 local and international acts coming to the party to whet every musical appetite.
So, who will be celebrating the New Year with them?
Their lips are well and truly sealed until the first line-up announcement on Tuesday 19th August. In 2008, Pyramid Rock Festival will continue to offer early-bird camping tickets for primo camping possies, a wide variety of market stalls, the international food village that will cater to every taste and the ever-popular shuttle bus services to local surf beaches.
Making every year better for punters, Pyramid 2008 will be providing ample shower and toilet facilities, extending the campground to allow for extra pathways between camping areas, as well as providing even more shaded areas to escape the sun. The Pharaoh's
Annex will continue to grow in size and Pyramid is making a number of exciting changes to the stage and production of shows.

Set on a private coastal property on Phillip Island, The Pyramid Rock Festival is ideally located in between picturesque Cape Woolamai and Phillip Island's famous landmark and the festivals' namesake Pyramid Rock. With the main stage perfectly nestled at the base of a natural amphitheater, Pyramid allows punters to watch the acts while catching a refreshing sea breeze and taking in the panoramic ocean views. Pyramid Rock Festival annually strives to minimize the festival's impact on the environment and 2008 is no exception, with Pyramid continuing its green commitment through an ongoing partnership with ticketing company Greentix, continuing its support of the Penguin Foundation and once again operating as an accredited Waste Wise event.
