Demilition B-Girl (or Demi from So You Think You Can Dance 2008) is hitting town with good friends the Casio Brothers for Fringe Family Weekend 7 and 8 March.
Don't miss the Snuff Puppets Giant Snail (4m in length, 3m high and 2.5m wide) who will be slithering around the park nibbling at Fringe-goers lunches.
This DJ/rapping/singing/dancing super team will be performing on Saturday 7 March at 2:15 pm on the Evolving Ear stage. To follow up Demilition B-Girl will by running workshops as part of the get in get dirty workshops between 10am and 5pm each day. Suitable for all ages (kids and adults alike), these hip-hop lessons will clue you into the freshest moves about. It' a great way to get the young lads interested as well because of all the fitness involved in such activity.
I mention the lads because they can be notoriously difficult to engage on an outing in some cases, where as young girls will enjoy the whole experience a little more generally. Fringe Family Weekend is always a great effort and any parent deserve the element of relaxing with the kids, without relying on spending a lot of money - a simple picnic basket and public transport will get you through an afternoon or morning around the park easily and what a fabulously memorable opportunity to simply enjoy yourselves as a family.
