Term 1 commenced on Wednesday 27 January but it's not too late to join- new beginners welcome!!
Beginners classes held Monday and Wednesday evenings and Thursday mornings.

Guest Teacher Jessica Statham (Madrid/Sydney)
During March Studio Flamenco will host guest teacher Jessica Statham. Jess will be teaching classes, running a workshop on Sunday 7 March 2010 and appearing as a guest artist at Tapas on Hindley on Friday 5 March.
Jessica discovered flamenco and began her training at an early age in her hometown of Sydney. She performed for many years with leading Sydney artists including a long residency at the Sydney tablao 'La Campana'. In 2004 she moved to Madrid where she has spent the last 5 years studying intensively at the renowned Amor de Dios academy with acclaimed artists such as Marco Flores, Manuel Linan, Concha Jareno, David Paniagua, Domingo Ortega, Maria Juncal, David Romero, Manuel Reyes and Pepa Molina, all of whom are at the cutting edge of flamenco today.
She has performed in a selection of Madrid 's tablaos including the popular El Juglar and has gained a reputation in flamenco circles both here and overseas for her impeccable rhythm and footwork, graceful body technique and powerful style. Since returning to Sydney she has appeared on several occasions with The Flamenco Crew and also performs regularly as a guest artist with Bandaluzia, one of the most innovative and celebrated flamenco groups in Sydney today. Her skill, knowledge, individuality and passionate commitment to flamenco make her a leading artist among Australia 's new flamenco generation.
