REGINA VS CONTEMPORARY ART

image | bruce nauman

By Paulo Castro with texts by Pinter, Heulleubeuque, Pasolini with Regina Fez (Spain) and Paulo Castro (Portugal).

The enigmatic and infamous Madrid transvestite Regina Fez and master provocateur Doctor Ribeiro invite you to contemplate contemporary art. In this witty and anarchic conference style performance what begins as an earnest attempt to investigate western culture soon spirals into a sado-masochistic battle of perversions.

Through speech, dance, paranoid sexual games and uber manipulation we are led into a dangerous world where nothing is sacred. Questions of truth, terrorism and sexual liberty are flung toward the audience as Regina and the Doctor take you on a face first exploration of a culture in crisis.

"Paulo Castro attacks with a corrosive, political sado-masochistic sexual performance with enigmatic Spanish transvestite Regina Fez. Both show great sense of humour as they manipulate their audience in a dangerous game. One of the most provocative performances of the year." Portugese Express
