In recent times the Council of the City of Adelaide have banned cigarette smoking in Rundle Mall the major shopping centre in the square mile city. There has been some public debate about the issue, but no organised protests demanding the right to smoke.
Earlier this year the contraception pill turned fifty years old and I was asked to co-host a celebration in words and poetic deeds to help raise the joys associated with it.
The responsible parties for this celebration are The Nameless Project and SHINE SA, so thanks to them you can now check out the broad variety of acts that appeared on the evening. When I say broad variety I guess I mean the rather magical variety of works and wordsmiths who came in to show and tell.
