Carbon Style

August 13th 2010 23:36
: Get Up 2010
We've designed two t-shirts to help you tell your friends, family and passers by on the street how you feel about carbon pollution and the need for renewable energy. We know that we need to reach as many people as possible with our message on carbon pollution if we're going to build a movement big enough to combat the vested interests.
If you can donate $AUS30.00 to help us get the message out in this last crucial week before the election, we will send you the t-shirt of your choice (postage included). Donate $50 and get two t-shirts. Do you want one of these limited edition election t-shirts for you or a friend?

The major parties are letting us down on climate change, which is why we have to take our message to the streets in the election and beyond. Of course, one way to make a statement, is to make a fashion statement.

With these great t-shirts we can tell people about the need for a price on carbon with a simple message: 'A tonne of CO2 should cost more than this t-shirt'. A good t-shirt retails for $20 these days, and our major polluters should be paying at least that much for the pollution they're belching into our skies day after day!

In addition to the climate message you can send with your new t-shirt, your donation will help us get out our message on carbon pollution to as many voters as possible. Your support will help us continue to put flyers into the hands of volunteers across the country, and will help us reach literally millions of voters in these last 8 days of the campaign with our message calling for strong action to cut carbon pollution.

The GetUp Team only have a limited supply of t-shirts available before election day. If you want yours before next Saturday, click here to get your order in today!
