WANT YOU TO HELP PREPARE FOR THE BIG DAY OUT 20TH ANNIVERSARY!
The Big Day Out headquarters are BUZZING with excitement as we approach our 20th Anniversary! Yes, 2012 will be the TWENTIETH year that the Big Day Out has been held!
It's hard to believe that it was over 20 years ago when Nirvana, The Violent Femmes, Massappeal, Beasts of Bourbon, Celibate Rifles, Died Pretty, Rat Cat, The Clouds, Yothu Yindi, Club Hoy, Cosmic Psychos, Falling Joys, Sound Unlimited Posse, Box the Jesuits, Hellmen, The Village Idiots, You Am I, Smudge, The Meanies, Welcome Mat and The Hard Ons with Henry Rollins (!!) all performed the first of what was to become the biggest touring festival in the world.
Hasn't time flown? While they can't give any hints about the EPIC 2012 line-up (yet) they can re-live the past - and what a wonderful ride it has been ...
While they're busy sifting through and dusting off a bunch of Big Day Out nostalgia they wondered what souvenirs fans have kept from their Big Day Out experiences and thought the best way to find out was via this rad competition:
