Independent makers and presenters 2010 funding information evenings
It's that time of year again when the Arts SA Independent makers and presenters team hit the road with their information sessions.
The following categories are offered in 2010:
Monday 15 February
Location: Craftsouth: Centre for Contemporary Craft & Design
1st floor JamFactory building,
Lion Arts Centre, 19 Morphett Street, Adelaide
Time: 6pm
The area of focus for this information session is the visual art, craft and design sector, however, practitioners from all artforms are welcome. RSVP to Craftsouth by email niki.vouis@craftsouth.org.au or telephone (08) 8410 1822.
Monday 22 February
Location: Nexus Multicultural Arts Centre - Cabaret Space
Lion Arts Centre, Cnr Morphett Street and North Terrace, Adelaide.
Time: 6pm
The area of focus for this information session is the performing arts sector, which includes the areas of dance, music and theatre, however, practitioners from all artforms are welcome. RSVP to Arts SA by email artssa@dpc.sa.gov.au or telephone (08) 8463 5444.
Wednesday 10 March
Location: SA Writer's Centre, 2nd floor,
187 Rundle Street, Adelaide
Time: 6pm
The area of focus of this session is literature, however, practitioners from all artforms are welcome. RSVP to the SA Writers' Centre by email sawriters@sawriters.on.net or telephone (08) 8223 7662.
Information regarding assessment criteria, eligibility and amounts on offer can be found in the 2010 Arts SA funding handbook and the relevant IMP artform guidelines at arts.sa.gov.au/.

The sessions are an opportunity to hear practical advice on which program best suits your project and how to prepare an application. Each session will focus on a specific artform and arts practice, however, general information applies regardless of your artform.
If you are considering applying to Arts SA for a grant the future you cannot afford to miss these sessions.
All sessions are free, however, RSVP is essential.
