Adelaide Festival Centre Wins Business Award
On Friday 1 August the Adelaide Festival Centre's OzAsia Festival was announced the winner of the Hong Kong Australia Business Association, SA Chapter (HKABA-SA), 2008 Business Award for importing of services.
The HKABA-SA Business Awards acknowledge high achievement by South Australian companies and organisations in trading with Hong Kong SAR and Mainland China.
Adelaide Festival Centre CEO and Artistic Director, Douglas Gautier, says, "The OzAsia Festival picked up this award in recognition of the successful South Australia / Hong Kong artistic and business partnerships that have got this new event off to such a good start, the award is also an acknowledgement of the importance of good cultural relations alongside business links."
The OzAsia Festival, now in its second year, celebrates the richness and diversity of our Australasian culture.
